Scott Giddens

Scott is founder and President of REcon Global Incorporated and has provided development and construction management services across the United States for the past 35 years.

 

Prior to launching REcon Global in 2001, Mr. Giddens served as Vice President of Development Services for Jones Lang LaSalle and held various management positions within the real estate development and construction industries. Scott brings vast experience in property acquisition, site due diligence, land use entitlements and multi-phase development and construction projects.

 

Scott has managed several large high-profile Bay Area projects including the 82 acre mixed-use, transit-oriented Bay Meadows project in San Mateo CA, The 335K SF - mixed-use office buildings at 500 and 700 Santana Row in San Jose and the development of The 88 - a mixed-use luxury high-rise residential tower in San Jose.  

 

Scott is very happy to focus his drive, compassion and resources towards providing dignified housing solutions for the unhoused in the San Jose area. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA and an Associate in Science from Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton, GA.  

 

Scott is a 26 year resident of San Jose. He and his wife are the proud parents of 3 adult children.
